Partnerships

Epic has taken multiple efforts to ensure the highest level of connectivity, interoperability and access to information across health systems and healthcare providers.

  • Epic and Connected Care have partnered in July to implement its digital health record platform. Through Connected Care's platform of physician-led companies, Hospitals, medical groups, health plans, and independent practice associates will gain access to additional technology, services and products

  • In June, Epic partnered with Humana. As Epic first payer partnership, Humana is planning to integrate its real-time benefits check tool into Epic's electronic prescribing workflow. This will improve interoperability and transparency across providers

  • Epic added American Well's virtual care platform and several other programs to its App Orchard. This will allow Epic to conduct American Well-powered telehealth appointments and providers to use American Well's telemedicine carts to digitally partner with non-Epic medical facilities
