A solid Epic resume is your first impression on opening the door to your next project, dream role, or new opportunity! In all our years of formatting Epic software resumes, we have learned that what lands you an interview request is pretty simple, but necessary. Here are the top tips we have found to make you shine as a candidate when formatting your Epic resume!
Your Professional Summary is key! This is where you can highlight all of your applicable experience along with each qualification that is needed for the desired role. You want it to scream, "I am the best fit for this role, and this is why!"

It's important to tailor your resume to be geared toward that specific role (changing it if necessary)Be specific with your job titles. Ex. instead of having your job title written as "Ambulatory Consultant", write down that you were an "Epic Ambulatory Analyst"
Format your resume to show your experience in reverse chronological order (your latest project at the top)
Double-check for grammar and spelling
Delete all periods and always write in the 3rd person (use Grammarly if needed)
Spell out months (August instead of 8), numbers (nine and under), and all symbols (& = and)
Be sure to write your current job in the present tense, and past jobs in the past tense
Check for spacing to ensure all is aligned
Triple-check your work
Follow this format to keep it clean and to the point
